STS Membership Information

The Indiana University Press is now handling all payments for Society for Textual Scholarship memberships. As a result, our membership categories have changed. Please note that, due to shipping costs for the journal, our foreign memberships now cost slightly more than our domestic memberships. We are also, however, for the first time able to offer our foreign members airmail shipment of the journal. Please note, as well, that if you join for two-years, 2008-2009, that you receive a discount on the annual price of the journal. Those who join for two years will also be eligible to participate in the Society's 2008 Bosto conference and the Society's 2009 New York conference. All those who present papers at the 2008 conference must be members of the Society in good standing for the membership year 2008. All those who present papers at the 2009 conference must be members of the Society in good standing for the membership year 2009.

Dues for 2008 and 2008-2009 membership in the Society for Textual Scholarship are as follows. All memberships to STS include the journal:

One-year STS basic (USA): $80.00
Two-year STS basic (USA): $135.00 [$67.50 per year]

One-year STS basic (Foreign via surface mail): $88.00
Two-year STS basic (Foreign via surface mail): $151.00 [$75.50 per year]

One-year STS basic (Foreign via air mail): $96.00
Two-year STS basic (Foreign via air mail): $167.00 [$83.50 per year]

One-year STS sustaining (USA and Foreign via air mail): $250.00
Two-year STS sustaining (USA and Foreign via air mail): $500.00

One-year STS student and retiree (USA): $40.00
One-year STS student and retiree (Foreign via surface mail): $48.00
One-year STS student and retiree (Foreign via air mail): $56.00

ALL STUDENT MEMBERS MUST SUBMIT A PHOTOCOPY OF A VALID STUDENT ID TO THE UNIVERSITY OF INDIANA PRESS

You have two options to purchase your membership. You may:
